When linear lighting strip was first introduced, it without a doubt had its potentials. With its flexibility, ease of installation, & reasonable cost, it was ideal for highlighting interior & exterior portions of buildings, under cabinets, and around artworks. There was only one problem. The only readily available light source for the strips at the time were incandescent and halogen lamps,which had less than spectacular light output, high heat,& very limited lamp life. In an effort to solve these glaring limitations, the Xelogen Rigid Loop lamp was created.

Utilizing a specially formulated xenon gas mixture, these new rigid loop lamps have a rated lamp life of 20,000 hours, brighter and whiter light output, & emit an even light output in all directions without any dark spot. Thc introduction of the Xelogen Rigid Loop lamp has greatly expanded the market for linear strip systems and prompted more and more system manufacturers to design the systems around the Xelogen Rigid Loop lamp.

Xelogen rigid loop lamps are known for their long life and high brightness. These lamps are most commonly used in linear lighting fixtures for interior and exterior architectural lighting. Most Xelogen rigid loop lamps have lamp life of 20,000 hours, where as most other lamps fall in the range of 5,000 hours.
